Repairs to the engine's inside motion has unfortunately suffered further delays with the crosshead away for machining. This means the loco has been declared unavailable for the 21st & 27th of October's planned railtours. The Torbay Express has therefore been cancelled, but the proposed "Great Western Envoy" has been postponed until later in the year.

Repairs to the engine's inside motion is still underway at Tyseley Loco Works in Birmingham. Some unavoidable delays meant the loco could not be repaired in time for the 14th October and therefore the Torbay Express has been postponed until the followed Sunday, 21st October. This switch was also brought about by the cancellation of the proposed tour on the 20th October from London to Stratford-Upon-Avon, the loco falling foul of gauging restrictions at Aylesbury.
